Yesterday was my amazing fiance's 23rd birthday. And I'm glad that I got to spend some time and celebrating her b'day with her before her birthday gathering and clubbing. I called her to wake her up and sang her a birthday song and then we had a movie date (where we watched the same movie while we're on the phone). It was a fun and awesome date, I just hope that I was there in person to celebrate her b'day with her.
On another matter, I bought my plane tickets to visit Tika a few days ago. I'll be arriving in Indonesia on January 14th and will be leaving there on January 27th. I'm excited about this, I just can't wait to be in her arms again. 
Tika's entry:
I am now officially 23. Wow, I can't believe it. Don't ask me what it feels like to be 23 just yet 'cause honestly I have no idea, I'm still sinking in the idea that I'm 23 now, I'm a year older, I don't know if I should be happy or sad here, hehehe 
Anyway, my b'day was a blast and I had an awesome time celebrating it. As soon as it hit midnight, I got two text msgs from my cousin and house keeper wishing me a happy birthday. Then I woke up to a phone call from my handsome fiance where he sang me a b'day song and then we spent some time watching Saw II. After our movie date, I heard that my niece and nephew and my brother already at the house for my b'day gathering. Then a couple of hours later my sister and her family showed up and then my brother's ex wife showed up and then unexpected to me my friend from when I was studying Business Law stopped by. I was so surprised at that. I was so not expecting them to come at all. So we all ate, sat around, took pictures, enjoy some laughs and stories and just had an awesome time. The gathering ended at around 6 pm and 3 hours after the guests went home, my sis, one of my housekeeper and myself went out clubbing at one of my sis and I's favorite place. Unfortunately, the place was being renovated so it was smaller and with that many people, it made dancing a little to hard. But none of the less, I had an awesome time, I had such a blast that I got a bit too tipsy after drinking 2 and a half of Long Island Ice Tea (they are so good  ).
For b'day presents, I got a speaker for my Ipod from my brother and the kids and his ex wife, two frames from my sis and my friends, and a manicure set from my other sister.
For me, it doesn't really matter what the gifts are, what matters is that I got to spend my b'day with my family and friends 'cause those are the people that I care and love the most. And I am so happy and grateful that I got to spend another birthday with them all.  |
